Towering bat inferno

Cinematical is reporting today on a brand new poster that’s just been released for this summer’s The Dark Knight. And, as we’ve come to expect from the pre-publicity for this film, it looks amazing: utterly intimidating, dark and realistic.

Honestly, The Guide could not be more excited about this film if we tried. Every single piece of information that’s trickled out about it looks stunning. The posters, the trailers, and the very sparse behind the scenes features.

To our eyes, what really distinguishes Christopher Nolan’s vision of Gotham and the rest of the Batman universe is that it is as realistic as possible. And we love it that way. He’s not making a comic book adaptation but an urban crime thriller.

We simply can’t wait to see this film.
